Information in QuoteNP
When you create an account, QuoteNP receives the account details provided by the sign-in provider, such as your email address. Your workspace can also contain business name and contact details, logo, client names and contact details, quote titles, line items, prices, notes, terms, and comments.
When a client opens a public quote or responds, QuoteNP records quote activity such as view times, response status, the name entered for approval, and comments. The application uses a daily changing hash derived from request metadata to help count distinct views; it does not put a raw IP address in quote activity records. Hosting and network providers may process request metadata as part of delivering the service.
Public quote links
A quote link is a bearer link: anyone who has the URL can view the quote shown at that link and any comments made visible on its page. A link continues to show the latest sent revision. Share it only with people who should see the quote. Clients do not need a QuoteNP account to open or respond.
Service providers
QuoteNP is built on Supabase for account, database, and file storage services. Public request rate limits use Upstash when configured. Quote email notifications use Resend when configured. These providers process information needed for the features they provide under their own terms and privacy notices.
Use and retention
Information is used to provide sign-in, create and display quotes, record client activity, protect public endpoints, and deliver enabled quote notifications. Quote records remain available to the workspace while stored by the service. The current product does not provide a self-service account deletion control; ask the service operator about access, correction, or deletion requests.
Keeping information safe
QuoteNP uses workspace access controls and private owner views. Public quote links are intentionally accessible to anyone who receives the link. No internet service can promise that every transmission or storage system is risk-free, so avoid placing highly sensitive information in quote notes or comments.
